Cobridge Communications Branding

Upstart cable provider Cobridge Communications acquired a rural subscriber base from another cable company, with the goal of offering improved products and customer service. Prior to their public launch, the senior management team from Cobridge came to Boston Creative for help creating a brand identity.

After conducting informal research and a competitive audit, our design team went to work creating logo concepts. Emphasis was placed on creating a logo design that would stand out from the "high tech" imagery that clutters the industry landscape. We also crafted brand language to position Cobridge as a friendly, local provider. Brand value statements such as "come on over to faster speeds", offer a clever play on the Cobridge name while promising friendly service and enhanced products. A graphic design system based on soothing colors, simple shapes, and clean typography round out the visual expression of the brand. It all adds up to a no-frills approach that gives Cobridge a friendly and confident position.

Projects included a :30 TV spot, website, fleet signage, sales literature, posters, outdoor advertising, graphic standards guide, and a 20 page trade dress guide for customer service locations.
